First, I like to understand your systems and processes, then get an understanding of your data and work together to come up with a detailed plan of attack.
From there I scope carefully, deliver working software early, and refine based on real feedback. Documentation and clean handoffs are always part of the process. When the work wraps, your team owns everything.
About
Portmanteau is my independent consulting practice, based in Austin, TX. My background spans supply chain consulting, software development, sales engineering, and mathematical optimization.
That has meant building optimization models for large-scale supply chains, designing internal tooling for operations teams, and translating between technical systems and the people who depend on them.
MS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering (UT Austin). BS in Physics, Mathematics, and English (Tulane).
